Final Reflection
When I started this course, I was a bit sceptical and scared also. I found Photoshop a bit overwhelming at first, since it was my first time using it. Even during our first exercise, I did struggle a bit to understand the shortcut keys and how to use it. After some practice, I started to understand it and would say that I was starting to work a bit faster. My favorite thing to learn during this semester was to know how to apply a layer mask and blend images together. However, I was not a big fan of the first exercise which consisted of doing a physical collage as I remember struggling a lot for this.
Throughout this module, I would say that practice was the most important thing to do. As you could know the steps and process on how to do something but it might not be enough. I learned more on how to create compositions and also what can be the process behind taking photographs. I also very much liked our photoshooting class as I think that doing it physically made it more interesting and fun to learn how to use a camera.
I found out that photoshop is as complex as it looks. It was not the easiest course even though completing the works was a faster process as compared to my other courses. It also takes a lot of patience and also a lot of critical thinking when it comes to judging our own work and think of what is or is not working. Despite all these struggles, I did enjoy discovering new things and had a pretty good experience.
