REFLECTION
I anticipated that this module would be challenging because it was the "advanced" version of what we completed in semester 1. In fact, this module called for a lot more abilities. I would say that the skills are the same as in semester 1, but they are much more advanced, thus our critical thinking as well should also be advanced. I wouldn't say I had a favorite task out of all of them because I didn't particularly love completing any of them. When we had to create our own fonts for an assignment back in semester 1, I truly hated it. In semester 2, nearly every task had the same concept. Hence, I'm just happy and relieved that I'm done with module. I also thought that maybe I would enjoy a bit more or at least despise less typography but unfortunately it was not the case. Task 1 Exercise 1 was the one I found most pleasant to complete. This was a chore that I really found interesting for a while while also teaching me a lot of new things. The remaining tasks were fairly challenging to complete. Everything in task 2 was brand-new, and we had never done anything where we had to base it on who we were as beings, our identities, etc. This really got me to think about my personal brand and what I desired to represent.  Due to the fact that we had completed this task in semester 1, creating the GIF was easy for me, as I previously stated. In a method that allows us to see the results of all of our work in a matter of seconds, this is satisfying. Task 3 was the most tedious one. Kerning and tracking was the worst nightmare I could have encountered. Honestly, at one point, I thought this would never end but here I am. What I learned is that consistency and practice is key. It is important to take into consideration the feedbacks given to us so that we can improve our works. Lastly, I'm thankful that I survived this module because it was not an easy task.
